The following will not be allowed at Balloon Fiesta Park or on the Park and Ride buses.
Pets, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, drug paraphernalia, weapons, fireworks, and open containers. You also cannot bring B-B-Q grills, camp stoves or other cooking devices.
The following is allowed at Balloon Fiesta Park and on the Park and Ride buses.
Sealed plastic containers, blankets, strollers, umbrellas, picnic food and small compact chairs. Coolers and picnic baskets will be searched at each entrance gate into the park and before loading onto the Park and Ride buses.
PLEASE NOTE: Pop up tents are allowed in the park, however, pop-up tents will not be allowed on the Park & Ride buses. Umbrellas and pop-ups will be restricted to a limited area of the park so as not to block the view of others.
Fireworks Display
The City of Albuquerque's Freedom Fourth Fireworks display is recognized as New Mexico's biggest and best. Following a fabulous musical line-up, fireworks will illuminate the Albuquerque sky with a variety of unique aerial effects, all choreographed to a festive musical score, creating the ultimate spectator experience.
